Orlík Castle is one of the most visited sight in Czech republic. It was founded in the 13th century as the gothic castle.  Was rebuilded several times (for the last time in the 19th century).  There is a possibility to take a walk in a beautifull park nearby.

Schwarzenberg tomb is the neogothical building from the 19th century. Its interiors are not accesible for the public. It was reconstructed in the recent years.

TIP 2: THERE IS  A WIEWPOINT ON THE LAKE AND ORLÍK CASTLE JUST ABOUT 100 METRES FROM THE TOMB.

Žďákov bridge is another interesting building in the region. It Provides a beautifull view on the Orlík lake on both sides. 

Zvíkov castle is placed at the confluence of the Vltava and Otava river. Was founded probably at the beginning of the 13th century. It still has its former gothical character.

The centre of this willage consist of the willage green with the dominant of the church from the 18th century.

The castle was founded in the 13th century. The latest reconstruction was made in the neorenaissance style in the 19th century. The castle is surrounded by the freely accessible park.

The church of saint Kateřina is one of the oldest monuments in the region. It was build in the 13th century.

TIP: THERE IS A SMALL BAROQUE BRIDGE OVER SKALICE RIVER IN THE LOWER PART OF THE WILLAGE. 

This monastery is the oldest in south Bohemia. It was founded at the end of the twelve century and it is still the center of culture and spiritual life in the Milevsko region.

Písek is the historical town on the Otava river. It was founded in 1243. It has 30000 citizens. There is the oldest stone bridge in the cenral Europe builded in the first half of the 13th century.

Svatá Hora (The Holy Mountain) is a large baroque site and pilgramage place by the Příbram town.
